CO2 is one of the most important greenhouse gases that plays a decisive role in our climate. Everyone causes CO2 emissions through their own living, eating, consumption and mobility habits, but companies also cause them mainly through their production processes. At OMV, the CO2 footprint is caused by the production of fuels and the consumption of fuels by customers.
OMV wants to make a contribution and compensate for this CO2. That is why OMV offers its customers the opportunity to cover their fuel consumption in a climate-neutral way. From 7.1.2020, members of the jö Bonus Club have the opportunity to fill up with CO2-neutral fuel. By honoring 20 Ös, members can drive climate-neutrally for about 50 litres. This corresponds to an average compensation of 125.335 kg CO2.
