Out of responsibility for a good future
For OMV, sustainability means creating lasting value that balances environmental, social and governance aspects in order to raise awareness for a future-oriented way of life. As part of our sustainability concept, we have therefore set specific targets and measures for our focus areas climate change, health and safety, natural resource management, people, and ethical principles that we will achieve by 2030.
We will achieve these goals, in particular the reduction of our net emissions to zero, not only thanks to the necessary capital investment, but also primarily thanks to our employees, suppliers, and all stakeholders who accompany OMV on a daily basis.
Climate change
Because climate change is currently the greatest challenge, OMV's business strategy takes into account all climate-related risks and opportunities in order to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest. To this end, OMV is implementing measures to increase the share of CO2-free products within the portfolio and to reduce fossil fuels.
