University collaborations
We’re investing around six million USD in research teams at Stanford University over the next five years, extending our decade-long collaboration. This funding will support the creation of AI-driven tools, including a smart AI-based decision-making tool to optimize projects within our low carbon business and support safe long-term storage of CO2.
Investment funds
OMV and OMV Petrom have become equity partners in InnoEnergy, connecting us to a unique ecosystem dedicated to accelerating innovation for the energy transition. This partnership supports start-ups, fosters industry-academia collaboration, and provides access to new technologies, diverse talent, and real-time market intelligence that help us pursue our ambition to become a net-zero business by 2050. Our Climate Transition Plan sets out the interim targets and actions supporting this ambition.
