We’re committed to building a sustainable world worth living in, for everyone. To help realize this vision, we have made sustainability and the circular economy integral to our Strategy 2030. These principles support our business decisions as we take strategic steps toward achieving our net-zero ambition.
We are committed to becoming a net-zero-business by 2050, accelerate the energy transition, and proactively expedite the transition from a linear to a circular economy. We build positive relationships with our employees, communities, suppliers, and other stakeholders, including by addressing social and economic effects of the transition to an environmentally sustainable economy. Our Sustainability Framework is built around the three pillars of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). Within this framework, we’ve established five strategic focus areas: Net-Zero Transformation; Natural Resources Management; Health & Safety; People & Their Human Rights; and Ethical Business Practices. For each focus area, we’ve set targets and actions to achieve by 2030, which align with the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Every year, we report on the progress we have made towards our targets.
