OMV and Österreichische Sporthilfe will join forces in a long-term partnership beginning on January 1, 2027. Together, they will support Austrian sporting talent and contribute to the continued development of elite and youth sport. The partnership will focus on Sporthilfe athletes at the beginning of their sporting careers. OMV and Österreichische Sporthilfe will work together to create reliable conditions and long-term prospects, enabling athletes to realize their full potential while combining sporting excellence with personal development and future planning.
Over the coming years, the partners will continuously develop their collaboration and strengthen their shared commitment to elite and youth athletes. Details on the partnership’s specific support measures will be announced at a later date.

Grants are not awarded based on bureaucracy or for a specific purpose so as to meet certain performance criteria. The association fulfills its remit without government funding. Financing comes exclusively from long-term partnerships with businesses, charity events, and fundraising activities.
