OMV strengthens its portfolio in cultural sponsoring and becomes general sponsor of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien (KHM) from 2022.
On June 29, Sabine Haag, General Director of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, and Rainer Seele signed the sponsorship agreement for the years 2022-2024, taking our successful partnership to a new level and underlining OMV's focus on cultural sponsorship of Austria's most important cultural institutions.
With the new cooperation as general partner, we are increasingly supporting cultural education programs and innovative activities for young people. These include enabling 4 exclusive internships at the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, organizing free "student afternoons" and the availability of the "U25 Annual Ticket" for 25 euros for everyone over 25 years of age. In this way, we enable access to art and culture for the younger generation, thereby demonstrating our social responsibility.
Furthermore, we are focusing on special offers for employees as part of the new partnership, such as exclusive guided tours, ticket competitions or an "OMV Open Museum @ KHM". Our goal is always to provide access to the Kunsthistorisches Museum for as many people as possible in order to create unique emotional and sustainable experiences.
Currently, OMV is sponsoring the special exhibition "Higher Powers - People, Gods and Elements of Nature" at the KHM. This exhibition will be on display until August 15, 2021.
