OMV supports families in need with food and relief supplies in Tunisia

In cooperation with the international relief organization Red Crescent in Gabes, OMV Tunisia distributed food and detergent packages to disadvantaged families near the gas processing plant in Gabes West to help the community cope with the COVID-19 lockdown.

The action targeted families in the Basboussa neighborhood adjacent to the Nawara Gas Treatment Plant (GTP), which is home to around 100 families (500 people). Red Crescent, in cooperation with local authorities, identified 50 families in need of assistance. They received special food and cleaning supplies packages. Excess supplies were directed to other disadvantaged families in Bouchemma in the larger GTP area, but still within the district of Gabes West.
