OMV Press Office Expands Its Media Services

With effect from September 2017, Brigitte Köck (47) and Elena Menasse (43) have been appointed to the functions of additional OMV Press Spokespersons under the leadership of Robert Lechner, Head of Public Relations. Brigitte Köck will be available to journalists for all requests for information and Elena Menasse will initially focus on matters relating to the Upstream business. Both possess many years of experience in the industry and in communications.
“With these changes, OMV has broadened the base of its press relations to offer the media even better access to the company”, says Magdalena Moll, SVP Corporate Affairs and Head of Corporate Communications.
Brigitte Köck joined the company in 1985. Since then, she has worked primarily in communications functions in the Finance, Downstream and Corporate Business Segments, and has served as an advisor to the Executive Board. Brigitte Köck has been a member of the OMV Public Relations Team since 2015.
Elena Menasse studied psychology and absolved a university course in public relations. She began her career with a book publisher and later moved to a PR agency. Elena Menasse began work at OMV Exploration & Production GmbH as Communications Manager in 2005. She moved to the OMV Group in 2011 and has worked as a member of the Public Relations Team since 2013.
In addition to classical press relations, the OMV Public Relations Team led by Robert Lechner is also responsible for the company’s social media activities. He continues to act in his function as Corporate Spokesperson.
