OMV Petrom launches the largest national tree planting campaign

OMV Petrom supports the largest privately funded forestation initiative in Romania - “Romania plants for tomorrow”. Within the project, approximately 1,500,000 seedlings will be planted on 300 hectares in the next three years, with activities each spring and autumn. This year, the first planting activity took place on March 7 with 150 volunteers planting around 500 trees in the Văcărești Natural Park in Bucharest. “Romania plants for tomorrow” will continue throughout the year in 24 locations in 16 counties, on a total area of over 100 hectares.
