“Every can counts” at OMV

Together with OMV, a total of 30 well-known companies took part in the recycling programme “ Every can counts” and collected almost 30,000 beverage cans within one year. Recycling the aluminium cans saved approximately 4,000 kg of CO2. This not only protects the environment, also less energy is needed. Compared to the new production of aluminum, only 5% of the energy is needed for recycling.
