After opening the first OMV filling station in Vienna in 1990 the expansion in Central and Southeast Europe started with the first opening of an OMV filling station in Hungary in 1991. Until 2004 filling stations in Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria as well as Serbia followed.
